all day long.I knew I had to write a post..but no,I just did nothing about it.In my defense,I did turn on the laptop thrice to write a post.But,didn’t write anything thing.And now,I looked at the prompts on NaBloPoMo site and guess what it is?

Tell us seven things you do when you procrastinate.

Apt,eh?
So,anyway..here are the 7 things I do,when I procrastinate:
I make a cup of tea/coffee.Then,I check my emails,browse randomly.
Next,I make a few calls.
Cook-The food doesn’t get to the table on its own.
Take a shower.
Check emails again.
Entertain the Diva-puzzles,padhai,snack,something..all the while thinking,I should really write..:)
Watch mindless TV..and finally look at the clock and panic..oh no!I have to write and publish a post before midnight.
Tomorrow,I will definitely write something during the day!!I think!

What does your mommy do? Work-lots of things,kind of cutting,gluing,making a house and some school.
Who is your daddy? This boy and my daddy’s name is Sanj..li (everything that she likes/love is suffixed with la or li-Papa-la,daddy-li,shampoo-la)
What does your daddy do? He do his work in office
What is your favorite color? Blue and green-who sab hai

what do you want to be when you grow up? I want to take all your jewellery.
What is your favorite food? Macaroni,sometimes.
What food do you not like? Bhaji,daal and kadu dahi,roti.
What is your favorite animal? Elephant
Where do you want to live when you grow up? In a new house
What do mommy and daddy do after you go to bed? They eat dinner and they sleep after dinner.
What does daddy say? Aadi-woh sab matt karo
What does mommy say? woh sab matt karo !
What is your favorite song? wubbly pig,sheila ,roneo-who sab achcha lagta hai

And then she asked me some question:

I was looking at her pictures from Oct 2008,when we moved here and OMG!,she looks so tinyIts so hard to remember her like that now. I can’t remember the time when she said barely a few words

Our local shopping center,known as the Town Center,has a great management.They keep organizing  family fun days,entertainment shows ,petting zoo, etc. over the weekends and school holidays.

The day,we went to watch this show,the temperatures had already crawled up late 30’s and the heat was unbearable.I felt so sorry for the guys playing Bugs and Daffy.There they were wearing these velvet costumes on a freaking hot day!

But it was a good show and the kids were sad to see them,leave. BTW,this stage is Aadya’s favorite place on the earth.Whenever we go to the Town Center,we have to spend some time near the stage.So,I sit as the audience and she performs She loves it!!

I was going to write a post about the interview today,but I’ve had a long day and am pooped..so,this will have to do,for today!

Yes,people !!The Princess turns 4 in less than 2 months..

And I must say,as we are getting closer to year4,the tantrums and meltdowns are getting fewer.If at all, the little diva is turning into the sweetest thing !! For every small thing,that we do for her- fix her clothes or hair,tuck her in bed,serve her meals- she is quick to say, “Thank you so much!” Its so cute to hear, “Can I have some more please? or No Thank you” .If we praise her,sure enough a little voice pipes, “Thank you!”.

Every morning,when I wake her up,she hugs me tight and says, “Wow!Mommy..that was a nice sleepover” or if she is feeling even more loving, “Mommy!you are the best Mommy!” Sigh!Tell me if this isn’t bliss,what is?

She is very vocal about her feelings too.The other day,I asked her to clean her room.She didn’t want to.But,I stood my ground.She cried for 10 whole minutes,before she started cleaning.When she finished and came out,DH called her to give her a hug.She just shook her head and said,sadly, “No!I don’t feel very good right now.I am upset,I don’t want to be with anyone.” We were speechless.

In the last two months,suddenly most of Aadya’s clothes are shorter.Yes,she’s just shot up.(touch wood!now!) And now,whenever we go shopping,I have to make sure,she tries on the clothes,before I buy it. And boy!!she loves it.She is such a girlie girl. She pays attention to accessories,shoes,bags,everything!Sometimes,madam even comments on my clothes and insists on picking some for me too.Not always fun! Specially now,that a lot of my clothes are either too snug or don’t fit.

Speaking of shopping,we went shopping for a friend’s two month old. When the baby was born,I was too tired,nauseous and more importantly car-sick to travel.So,anyway,we went shopping and Aadi went beserk!She wanted to pick up so many things for the little girl.Finally,we picked up a nice playmat and a dress.Uff,just picking that one dress,took her longer than it took me to pick the playmat.And I was reading the features on each one too

So,anyway,finally an outfit was picked.And then,started the oohing and aahing. “Ohhh Mumma,isn’t this pretty?Diya kitni cute lagegi na yeh dress pehen ke!Who kitni khush hogi na,Aadya didi ka gift dekh ke! [Diya will look so cute,wearing this dress.She will be so happy to see Aadya didi’s gift.] She,then,made a card for Diya baby and even wrapped the gift herself.I have been trying to get her to write letters for a while..but she is not interested,but,that day she asked me teach her how to write Diya I just wish,I had remembered to take pictures.

Tomorrow,we have an interview with Aadya’s Kinder teacher and she is so excited.Every night before going to sleep,she counts the days to kinder.Every morning,she counts how many more sleeps to kinder.I hope she enjoys it.In fact,I am sure,she’ll enjoy it.Its me,who is a blubbering mess,every now and then,thinking,my baby is all grown up.
